Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced new measures for women, children, differently-abled, and transgenders. He instructed officials to ensure proper nutritious food for pregnant women and infants at Anganwadi centers.

The National Family Health Survey highlighted a concerning trend of malnutrition and anemia among pregnant women, infants, and children. The CM emphasized the need to monitor food delivery at Anganwadi centers to improve health standards.

Biometric systems and CC cameras will be installed at all 35,000 Anganwadi centers. Mobile Anganwadi centers will be launched in GHMC limits as a pilot project. Permanent buildings for Anganwadi centers will be constructed with special designs to promote mother and child welfare.

The government will implement reservations for differently-abled individuals in education and job opportunities. Medical treatment will be provided to transgenders at teaching hospitals. A new policy will ensure equal access to government schemes and welfare benefits for transgenders.
