Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed concern over the brutal killing of Guvvala Sanjeev in Utkoor mandal, Narayanpet district. He warned that strict action will be taken against those responsible for such violent attacks. The Chief Minister also instructed the police to take action and ordered the State DGP to prevent such incidents from happening again.
In response to the incident, IGP Sudheer Babu suspended Utkoor SI for not fulfilling his duties. The sub-inspector of police, Bijja Srinivasulu, was suspended for negligence and misconduct in handling a complaint at Utkoor Police Station.
The IGP found that Srinivasulu did not respond appropriately or promptly to the complaint, leading to his suspension.
