The Chief Minister of Hyderabad, A Revanth Reddy, has called for a review meeting with his ministers to discuss the implementation of the ‘Six Guarantees’ promised by the ruling Congress party during the Assembly elections. The party aims to achieve these guarantees within 100 days and will digitalize all applications by January 17. The government plans to prioritize the implementation based on the state’s financial situation and hopes to receive loans from various sources. Revenue from land registrations and the excise wing will also be used to fund the guarantees.

The government recognizes the high expectations of the people and aims to create a transparent and implementable action plan without delay. They also hope to implement the guarantees before the Lok Sabha poll notification. The meeting will also address the eligibility criteria for applicants and discuss feedback received from the public regarding the Congress party’s one-month governance.

The government will explore options to find funding for transferring money to remaining beneficiaries, following the successful release of Rythu Bandhu money for over 25 lakh farmers. Despite a critical financial situation, the government managed to pay salaries by January 5. The meeting will also discuss initiating investigations into alleged irregularities and corruption in the Kaleshwaram project. Additionally, the meeting is expected to address matters such as MLC elections and filling up nominated posts.
