Hyderabad: On June 16, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will meet with farmers through the ‘Rythu Nestam’ program.
Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao discussed the program’s setup with district collectors via teleconference. The event will be held at the Agricultural University and broadcasted to all ‘Rythu Nestam’ centers. Collectors were told to prepare thoroughly, inviting public representatives and ensuring at least 250 farmers attend from each location.
The program’s goal is to link farmers with agricultural experts through video conferencing. Previously available at 500 centers, this service now expands to 1,000 more centers starting June 16. Experts will offer advice on crop choices and modern farming methods.
Secretary for Agriculture, Raghunandan Rao, asked collectors to send mandal officers and Agriculture Extension Officers to each ‘Rythu Nestam’ center. He stressed creating a festive atmosphere for the event.
Earlier, the Chief Secretary reviewed arrangements for the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards on June 14 at the HICC with the DGP and other officials. Dr. Harish, Special Commissioner for Information and Public Relations, reported that preparations are complete, with all departments working together for a successful event.
