Hyderabad: BRS leader T Harish Rao accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of contradicting the statements made by Congress national leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi regarding the handling of the liquor policy case by the ED and CBI.

Rao stated that Revanth Reddy’s behavior seemed more aligned with the BJP than with the Congress, implying that he was not working in line with the party’s leadership. Rao emphasized that Kharge and Gandhi had echoed the same concerns about the Modi government’s influence over investigative agencies in relation to the liquor scam, contrary to Reddy’s stance.

According to Rao, Kharge and Gandhi had denounced the liquor scam as fabricated and criticized the Centre for using investigative agencies to target political opponents. However, Reddy and other State Congress leaders were reportedly taking a different stance from the AICC leaders.
