The Hyderabad City Police Commissioner, CV Anand, recently held a video conference with officials in anticipation of the upcoming festivals of Ramzan, Sri Rama Navami, and Hanuman Jayanthi. The purpose of the conference was to issue instructions to ensure that the festivals conclude peacefully.

During the conference, Commissioner Anand stressed the importance of crowd monitoring and traffic management at religious places. Officials were instructed to remain vigilant and enhance visible policing to ensure a swift response to any issues that may arise. Joint inspections with other departments along procession routes were also mandated.

To ensure that the festivals run smoothly, Station House Officers were instructed to stretch beyond their working hours during the festive month. Additionally, the Commissioner emphasized the need to keep a close eye on hate mongers who post instigating content on social media. To combat this, filing cases and expediting issuance of notices to the perpetrators were the directives given.
