South Central Railway (SCR) held a meeting to review the safety of train operations on Monday. The General Manager, Arun Kumar Jain, emphasized that safety should be the top priority and that shortcuts should be avoided. He also instructed officers to conduct regular nighttime inspections of all sections.
The meeting also discussed the management of goods sheds and capacity enhancement. The maintenance of tracks at private sidings and proper training for supervisors of private contractors were also emphasized to ensure compliance with worksite safety requirements at all times.
