Nalgonda Collector Discusses Custom Milled Rice (CMR) Procurement
The Collector of Nalgonda District, Ila Tripathi, along with Additional Collector J. Srinivas, extended their New Year greetings on the occasion of the English New Year 2025. During this meeting, an important discussion took place about the procurement and delivery process of Custom Milled Rice (CMR) for the Kharif season of 2024-25.
The delegation present at the meeting made a request for the issuance of necessary government orders and permissions. These measures are aimed at facilitating the delivery of the procured paddy to the government.
Several key members of the Nalgonda District Rice Millers Association participated in the meeting. Among them were the association’s president, Karnati Narayana, general secretary, Repala Bhadradri Ramulu, honorary president, Chittipolu Yadagiri, executive member, Julakanti Indra Reddy, and Devarakonda Center Rice Millers Association president, Samudrala Venkateshwarlu.
The discussion stressed the importance of collective efforts to streamline the CMR procurement process. It also highlighted the need to ensure timely delivery of rice to meet government standards and requirements.
