Heinrich Klaasen scored an impressive century in the IPL 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Klaasen’s 104 came off just 51 balls, including eight fours and six sixes. Legendary cricket player Sachin Tendulkar was impressed with Klaasen’s batting, calling it one of the best he had seen in recent times.
Klaasen came in to bat at No.4 and was particularly harsh on spinners Shahbaz Ahmed and Karn Sharma. After the match, he said that he tried to keep his method as simple as possible, keeping his hands still to avoid inconsistency. He added that his team, Sunrisers Hyderabad, had a fantastic batting unit and if they could get a couple of early wickets, their score of 186/5 should be enough.
