Schools choose students through random draw for top placements

In Nagarkurnool district, a lucky draw was held at the Collectorate meeting hall to select scheduled caste students for admission in private schools. Additional District Collector Sitarama Rao announced this initiative to provide quality education to these students.

The lucky draw took place for the Best Available Schools scheme for the year 2024-25. Students were selected for admission in Class 1 for Day Scholars and Class 5 for Residential Schools. The draw was conducted at 11 am under the supervision of the District Additional Collector.

Students who had already applied to the schools were present along with their parents during the lucky draw program. A total of 88 seats in Class 1 and 90 seats in Class 5 were filled through this process. District Scheduled Castes Officer Ramlal, ASW Officer Sudarshan, Superintendent Ramji, Kavitha, representatives from private schools, and parents of students were all part of this event.
