Inspections were carried out at seed and fertilizer shops in Bijinapalli mandal of Nagarkurnool district under the supervision of Mandal Agriculture Officer Neethi. The collected seeds and pesticides were sent to Malakpet Lab and Jadcharla Lab for quality testing. Similarly, Urea and Ammonium Pasphate Sulphate fertilizers were also tested at Malakpet Lab.
Neethi stated that strict action will be taken against any traders found selling counterfeit seeds or fertilizers in the mandal. Farmers were advised against purchasing loose seeds and encouraged to report any suspicions they may have regarding seed purchases.
Overall, the inspections aimed to ensure the quality of agricultural products being sold in the area and protect farmers from potential fraud.
