Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) held a meeting on Monday to review the safety of train operations and the progress of various developmental projects across the zone.
The main focus of the meeting was ensuring the safety of train operations. Officials were instructed to strictly follow safety procedures to prevent any incidents that could disrupt train movements.
It was also decided that regular counseling sessions would be held for running staff, including loco pilots, assistant loco pilots, station masters, and permanent way maintenance staff.
Arun Kumar Jain, the general manager of SCR, emphasized the importance of managing crew working hours. He instructed all divisional railway managers to carefully plan proper rest periods for crew members.
