South Central Railway has planned special trains for the Sankranti festival to meet the high travel demand.
The Secunderabad to Anakapalle route will have a train (07041) running on January 4th, 11th, and 18th (Sundays). The return trip from Anakapalle to Secunderabad (07042) is set for January 5th, 12th, and 19th (Mondays).
Another special service will connect Hyderabad and Gorakhpur. The Hyderabad to Gorakhpur train (07075) will operate on January 9th, 16th, and 23rd (Fridays). The return journey from Gorakhpur to Hyderabad (07076) will run on January 11th, 18th, and 25th (Sundays).
Additionally, a train will travel from Machilipatnam to Ajmer (07274) on January 21st, and the return from Ajmer to Machilipatnam (07275) will occur on January 28th. These services aim to make festival travel easier.
