South Central Railway to Run Special Trains for Sabarimala Pilgrims
To accommodate the increased number of Sabarimala pilgrims, South Central Railway has announced special trains between Moula Ali and Kollam. These trains aim to ease travel for devotees during the pilgrimage season.
Train number 07193, running from Moula Ali to Kollam, will depart at 6:55 PM and reach Kollam at 11:55 PM the following day. This train will operate on December 11, 18, and 25. Similarly, train number 07194, traveling from Kollam to Moula Ali, will leave Kollam at 2:30 AM and arrive at Moula Ali at 9:15 PM the next day. This service is scheduled for December 13, 20, and 27.
The special trains will make stops at several stations en route, including Cherlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganacheri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, and Kayankulam in both directions.
In addition to this, special trains will also operate between Kacheguda and Kottayam. Train number 07151, departing from Kacheguda, will leave at 3:40 PM and arrive at Kottayam at 6:50 PM the next day. This service will run on December 9, 16, and 23. Train number 07152, returning from Kottayam to Kacheguda, will depart at 8:30 PM and reach Kacheguda at 11:40 PM the following day. The dates for this journey are December 10, 17, and 24.
