In Hyderabad, Section 144 of CrPC has been imposed, banning gatherings of five or more people until May 14. The Police Commissioner emphasized the use of technology for surveillance during elections, including webcasting at polling stations.

To ensure a safe voting environment, police officers will be vigilant and monitor polling stations. Central Armed Police Forces will also be deployed to prevent any incidents. A total of 14,000 police personnel will be on duty, with patrol vehicles ready to respond to any emergencies.

In Cyberabad, covering seven parliamentary constituencies, nearly 10,000 police personnel will be deployed. Officers are instructed to follow election protocols and act fairly. In Rachakonda, around 9,000 policemen will be deployed, with foot patrols in densely populated areas to prevent gatherings near polling stations.
