The Passing out Ceremony for the second batch of Agniveers was held at Artillery Centre in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Major General Rakesh Manocha, Sena Medal, VishishtSeva Medal, General Officer Commanding Telangana and Andhra Sub Area reviewed the parade. This event was special because more than 2700 Agniveers were absorbed in the Regiment of Artillery, making it the largest Course trained at any Regimental Centre. After completing 31 weeks of physically and mentally demanding training, the Agniveers will now join their respective Artillery Regiments. This was a proud moment for the Centre, instructors, and parents.
The Parade was attended by military and civilian dignitaries, along with the parents. The Reviewing Officer praised the Agniveers for their significant contribution to the Indian Army. The discipline and camaraderie instilled in them during training will enable them to serve the Army better and have a bright future.
