Sitting candidate Dhanasari Anasuya, also known as Sitakka, has won the MLA seat for Mulugu constituency in the assembly elections. She secured a majority of 33,700 votes over her opponent, Mulugu ZP Chairperson Bade Nagajyoti. The counting process involved tallying a total of 185,000 votes and took 22 rounds to complete.
