Tension arose in Ghansimiyaguda in Shamshabad district after a wild animal attacked some dogs and a calf. Villagers thought it was a leopard, but forest officials suggested it might be a hyena or a big dog.

The dogs and calf were bitten in an agricultural field near the village, causing fear among locals who contacted the forest officials. A team from the forest department came to investigate but did not find any leopard footprints.

Officials believe the attacker could have been a hyena or a large dog. They noted that leopards usually target the neck, while the dogs and calf had stomach injuries.
