Nagarkurnool: Awareness Seminar on Women's Safety Held
Nagarkurnool District Additional SP Ch. Rameshwar has advised women to call the She Team helpline number 8712657676 immediately if they face any danger.
On Tuesday, an awareness seminar on She Team was held at the Zilla Parishad High School in Thoodukurthy village, Nagarkurnool Mandal. The event aimed to educate women and female students about their safety.
Speaking as the chief guest, Additional SP Rameshwar highlighted the increasing influence of social media in today’s society. He urged women to be cautious while interacting with strangers online and to stay alert against eve-teasers.
He also assured that She Teams work 24/7 for women’s safety. Anyone facing trouble can call the helpline for immediate assistance, and their issue will be resolved quickly.
She Team In-charge Vijayalakshmi, Venkataiah, and other officials also participated in the program.
