CCTV Cameras Boost Security in Nagarkurnool
Nagarkurnool SP Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath has emphasized the importance of CCTV cameras in improving security. On Tuesday, he inaugurated 32 new CCTV cameras in Charkonda Mandal as part of a community policing initiative.
Speaking at the event, SP Gaikwad highlighted the need to embrace new technology for crime prevention. He urged residents to cooperate in installing CCTV cameras in villages, explaining that these cameras help in detecting crimes quickly and reducing thefts.
He further stated that efforts are being made to increase awareness and expand CCTV surveillance to every village. Unlike human monitoring, CCTV cameras provide 24/7 surveillance, making them highly effective in maintaining security.
The event was attended by Kalwakurthy DSP Venkateshwarlu, CIs Vishnuvardhan Reddy and Nagarjuna, as well as Kalwakurthy and Charkonda SIs and other police personnel.
