Shilparamam Hosts Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar and Sankranti Celebrations
Hyderabad: Shilparamam has brought back its highly anticipated Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar National along with the Sankranti Sambaralu. The event is scheduled to take place from January 8 to January 17.
This vibrant fair is being jointly organized by Shilparamam Hyderabad and the Development of Commissioner Handicrafts. The main objective of the event is to promote and support the handloom and handicrafts sectors, providing a platform for artisans to showcase their work.
Visitors to the mela can explore a wide variety of unique craft items. These include folk paintings, hand-printed dress materials and sarees, Bidri art, bamboo and cane products, tie-and-dye fabrics, lacework, Bastar iron craft, zari zardozi, Patti, silver filigree, toys, dry flowers, and many other traditional handicrafts.
According to a senior officer at Shilparamam, the mela offers an excellent opportunity for art lovers and shoppers to experience and appreciate the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship.
