The State Agriculture Minister, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, campaigned in Wanaparthy and expressed his commitment to help the poor and weaker sections of society. He received a warm reception from the residents during his door-to-door interactions. They assured him of their support and promised a majority in the upcoming elections.
During the campaign, Singireddy highlighted the government’s efforts to support farmers, including investment assistance and crop procurement. He also announced plans to increase the Rythu Bandhu support from Rs 10,000 to Rs 16,000 over the next five years. Eligible women will receive Rs 3,000 per month under the Saubhagya Lakshmi scheme. Rice distribution will be extended to all impoverished families with ration cards starting from April-May next year. The construction of self-reliant women’s group buildings is also planned.
Singireddy emphasized the importance of the Dalit Bandhu scheme and discussed plans for town expansion and development. This includes constructing administrative buildings and establishing new higher education institutions.
