Bhupalpally: Six young people tragically lost their lives in the Medigadda Barrage on Saturday.
The group included four individuals from Ambatipalli village in the Mahadevpur mandal of Bhupalapalli district and two from Korlakunta village. They went to the barrage in the evening and unfortunately drowned in the Godavari River.
SI Pawan Kumar from Mahadevpur visited the location to inspect the situation.
Both police officers and local villagers have started rescue and recovery efforts to find the bodies.
These young individuals drowned while swimming in the river. SI Pawan Kumar assessed the scene, and efforts continue for body recovery with help from the police and the community.
