Hyderabad: State Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has announced the introduction of a slot booking and biometric system in all Sub-Registrar offices. This move aims to provide better and more transparent services to the public. Additionally, artificial intelligence and chatbots will be used to speed up the registration process in the future.

During a review meeting, the Minister stated that currently, document registration takes at least 45 minutes to an hour. However, with the new slot booking system, the process will be completed in just 10 to 15 minutes. A pilot project will be launched in some sub-registrar offices in April to test the new system. The goal is to modernize these offices using technology so that people do not have to wait long for document registration.

The Minister also emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence and chatbots in improving efficiency. He instructed sub-registrars to take strict action against registering properties that are on the prohibited list.

To ensure better monitoring, a special portal called Bhu Bharati will be set up. This portal will include details of prohibited properties and will be linked to the Revenue Department. The Minister warned that strict action would be taken if any land from the prohibited list is registered.
