The Telangana government made a small change in the positions of IAS officers on Thursday. A total of eight officers were transferred and given new roles in different departments.
Transport Commissioner K. Surendra Mohan was given additional responsibility as Commissioner for Cooperation & Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Director of Marketing. This role was previously handled by P. Uday Kumar, who has now been relieved of the position.
R.V. Karnan, Director of Health and Family Welfare, was assigned as the CEO of Arogyasri. He replaced L. Siva Sankar, who has been transferred and will now report to the General Administration Department.
K. Haritha, who was working as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, has been transferred to the role of Director of Commercial Taxes. She takes over from Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, who was handling the post temporarily.
S.K. Yasmeen Basha, Director of Horticulture & Sericulture, has been given additional responsibility as Managing Director of Telangana Seeds Development Corporation. This role was earlier assigned to P. Uday Kumar, who has now been relieved of the duty.
K. Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Managing Director of HACA, was given additional charge as Managing Director of Telangana Foods. He replaces B. Srinivas Reddy, who has been transferred.
B. Srinivas Reddy, who was serving as Additional Director of Handlooms & Textiles, has been sent back to his parent department.
Finally, Sanchit Gangwar, who was Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Wanaparthy, has been transferred to the same position in Narayanpet district.
