Kothagudem: The Telangana State Police Academy in Hyderabad hosted the State-level police duty meet in 2024. During this event, the district police’s sniffer dog, Juno, won a gold medal.
The competition took place from October 16 to October 19. Juno secured the top position in the explosives detection category. The district’s Superintendent of Police, B Rohith Raju, expressed his gratitude to Juno and its caretaker, Hussain.
Rohith Raju was very proud of Juno for outperforming 21 other sniffer dogs and winning the trophy for best talent. He also advised that Juno should continue training to compete at the national level and hopefully win another gold medal for the State.
