Hyderabadis are using social media to protest the lack of action from GHMC, Hyderabad district collector, and state Chief Electoral Officer regarding alleged bogus voting in the city. They are demanding punishment for Electoral Registration Officers and other officials responsible for allowing fake votes.

Recently, there were claims of illegal deletion of votes in Shaikpet and Jubilee Hills, and now a new incident has been reported in Malakpet Assembly segment. Hitesh Agarwal, a resident of Professors Colony, shared evidence on social media showing how fake votes were registered at his house number.

Agarwal stated that his joint family has been living in the same house for 45 years, with around 70 members. Despite this, 15 to 16 votes from his family were deleted in the latest voters list revision. The new list included names of people not residing at his address, such as Mukhram Hussain, who was falsely listed as a voter from his house.
