District SP Rakshitha K Murthy expressed her condolences to the family of head constable K Anand (HC no 1918), who passed away while on duty. Anand suffered a heart attack on Sunday while serving at the DCRB Division of Wanaparthy District Police Office near Old Bazar Pochamma Temple.
The next day, the SP and other officials visited Anand’s family to offer their support. The SP provided Rs 20,000 to help with the funeral expenses and expressed her sympathies to Anand’s wife, Ratna Mala. Mala was assured that she would be supported in any way needed.
