In Bhadradri Kothagudem District, District SP Rohit Raju IPS met with traders and contractors in Maoist-affected areas near the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border. The meeting took place at the SP office conference hall. He asked about the issues faced by tunica traders because of Maoists and urged them to protect tribal people who rely on tunica collection in these areas.

Traders collecting tunica in agency areas were advised to be cautious and report any information about banned CPI-Maoists to the police promptly. The SP warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found supporting the banned group, directly or indirectly.
