Minister D Sridhar Babu accused former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao of playing politics in the name of farmers. He criticized Rao for using cheap tactics to gain benefits in the upcoming Parliament elections.
Sridhar Babu stated that there has been some crop loss in the State due to natural calamities. He pointed out that during Rao’s ten-year tenure as chief minister, he did not prioritize the welfare of farmers, but now he is showing concern for MP seats.
The Minister emphasized that the Congress government is focused on supporting farmers, and their MLAs are working diligently to prevent crop losses. He also highlighted issues with the Kaleswaram project, mentioning that the Medigadda barrage pillars have collapsed, posing a danger to the area.
Sridhar Babu expressed doubt that people would believe the false propaganda spread by BRS leaders. He asserted that voters would once again teach a lesson to the BRS party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
