Telangana State Animal Husbandry Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, announced that the government is preparing for the Bonalu festival in a big way. Yadav recently met with officials and local representatives at the Salarjung Museum to discuss the management and arrangements for the festival, which will take place in the Old City of Hyderabad on July 16.
During the meeting, Yadav emphasized that the government is fully involved in organizing the Bonalu festival and has allocated Rs.15 crores to provide financial assistance to various temples. It is worth mentioning that Telangana is the only state that offers financial aid to private temples. The distribution of financial assistance to temples in the Old City will take place on July 10.
