Today, on 02 April 2023, petrol and diesel prices in India have remained stable. The current petrol price in Delhi is Rs. 96.72 per litre, while the diesel price is Rs. 89.62 per litre. Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, the petrol price is Rs. 109.66 per litre, and the diesel price is Rs. 97.82 per litre. In Chennai, the petrol price per litre is Rs. 102.65, and the diesel price is Rs. 94.24 per litre.
Moving on to Mumbai, the petrol price stands at Rs. 106.31 per litre, while the diesel price remains at Rs. 97,28 per litre. In Bangalore, the petrol price is Rs. 101.94 per litre, and the diesel price is Rs. 87.89 per litre.
It’s worth noting that India relies heavily on crude oil imports for its petrol and diesel needs, which means that crude oil prices play a significant role in determining fuel prices in the country. However, other factors such as increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio can also impact fuel prices domestically.
It’s important to keep in mind that the fuel prices mentioned above are due at 6 am and are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies may alter fuel prices based on crude oil prices.
