ICAR-CRIDA in Hyderabad has created an app called the Farmers Distress Index under a NABARD-funded research project on ‘Farmers Distress and PMFBY’. The app was released by Dr. T. Mohapatra, former Director General of ICAR, and is led by Dr.Amarender Reddy, Principal Scientist and Head, Section of Design and Analysis, ICAR-CRIDA.
The Enforcement Directorate has filed a complaint with the local court against the Telangana government’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the TSPSC paper leak case. The ED claims that the SIT is not cooperating in the simultaneous probe launched by the Central agency.
