Subhash’s relatives exploit power, police become bystanders

State BJP official spokesperson N V Subhash has accused the kin of a top BRS leader of misusing their power for land grabbing in Hyderabad. The incident came to light after a court directed the police to file a complaint against the sons of BRS secretary-general and MP K Keshav Rao. The Banjara Hills police have now booked a case against the MP’s sons, K Viplav Kumar and K Venkateshwar Rao. It is alleged that Viplav Kumar forged the signature of the land-owner, who is currently residing in the US. Initially, the police were reluctant to take action due to the accused’s relation to Rao. However, the land-owner sought help from a city court, which then ordered the police to register a case. N V Subhash has demanded an explanation from Minister KT Rama Rao regarding this misuse of power by the kin of the BRS leader.
