The Cyberabad Police Commissioner has provided some important suggestions to citizens on how to prevent property offences during the Sankranti festival vacation.

If you’re leaving your home, it is recommended to keep your money, gold, silver, and jewelry in bank lockers or hide them in a secret place in your house. Installing a lock with a central locking system and arranging a security alarm system with motion sensors at your house is also suggested. If you need to lock your house, it is better to inform the local police station about your departure and arrival information.

It’s also advised to have trusted watchmen and security guards. Install CC cameras inside and at the exit entry routes of your home and monitor them online. Keep your DVR in a secret place.
