The Supreme Court has put a stop to the Telangana High Court’s decision to give YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy protection from arrest until April 25 in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. The apex court deemed the high court’s decision “atrocious and unacceptable.” Avinash Reddy is accused of Vivekananda Reddy’s murder, who was found dead at his home in Pulivendula in Kadapa district on March 15, 2019. The bench has scheduled further hearings for the case on April 24th. The court issued a notice of plea that challenged the protection given to Avinash Reddy, who is also the cousin of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
