Suravaram Pratap Reddy remembered with deep respect in Hyderabad

On Sunday, the 127th birth anniversary of Suravaram Pratap Reddy was celebrated in Hyderabad. He was a freedom fighter, Telangana ideologue, and editor of Golkonda Magazine. Ministers V Srinivas Goud and Singireddy Niranjan Reddy paid tribute to him by garlanding his statue at Tank Bund and offering flowers.

The Ministers spoke about the important role Suravaram Pratap Reddy played in serving the country and Telangana society and emphasized the need to inform the present generation about his biography and services. Minister Niranjan Reddy mentioned that Suravaram was the first MLA elected from Wanaparthy Assembly constituency, but unfortunately passed away within 14 months of being a member of the Assembly.

To bring attention to his services, a statue of Suravaram Pratap Reddy was installed in Wanaparthy town. Additionally, two volumes of his biography have already been published, and efforts are underway to release a third volume by Telugu Bhasha Dinotsvam.
