The GHMC Swimming Complex in Secunderabad is hosting a swimming championship on May 19, with support from the Telangana Swimming Association. The event aims to promote school-level swimming, provide a summer activity, and reduce academic pressure. The competition is divided into three age groups: under-10, under-14, and under-17.
Participants can compete in four strokes – freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly – each covering 50 meters. This championship is open to non-medalist swimmers only, with a limit of two events per participant.
