Minister T Harish Rao addressed a BRS meeting in Husnabad district on Wednesday. The meeting was held in Potaram (S) and was about the preparation for the BRS party election in the Husnabad constituency. Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Vinod Kumar and former Rajya Sabha member Captain Lakshmi Kanta Rao also attended the meeting. Vinod Kumar praised MLA Sathish Kumar for his commitment to serving the people. He mentioned that the large number of people attending the meeting is proof of MLA Sathish Kumar’s dedication. Vinod Kumar also highlighted how MLA Sathish Kumar has developed the constituency with a significant amount of funds.
During his speech, Harish Rao praised MLA Sathish Kumar as the best legislator. He mentioned that MLA Sathish Kumar received a majority of 40,000 votes in the first election and 70,000 votes in the second election. Harish Rao urged the BRS ranks to ensure MLA Sathish Kumar receives a majority of over 1 lakh votes in the upcoming third election.
Captain Lakshmi Kanta Rao, who played a prominent role in the fight for the state of Telangana, was also present at the meeting. Harish Rao praised Captain Lakshmi Kanta Rao for his services and mentioned how he provided food and shelter to hundreds of activists during their struggle.
