    Three people were caught serving alcohol illegally in Hyderabad by the Commissioner’s Task Force. They were found serving liquor in Banjara Hills, Borabanda, and Chikkadapally police station areas. The police seized 48 liters of alcohol valued at Rs 1.6 lakh during the raid.

    The accused individuals are Chittuluri Srinivas, V Narsihma, and M Mallesh. They were caught operating ‘The Blue Heaven Restaurant and Bar’ illegally by serving liquor early on a Monday morning. The police stated that the establishment was violating regulations set by the excise department by selling alcohol outside of permitted hours to make extra profits.

    In a similar operation in March, around 100 liquor shops were raided across different police stations resulting in the arrest of 29 individuals. Liquor shops often operate illegally in areas like highways, slums, and near auto/taxi stands where alcohol is sold at higher prices round the clock.
