Hyderabad: On Tuesday, Income Tax officials searched the offices of DSR Group of Companies, owned by former Member of Parliament and Congress leader G Ranjith Reddy.
The IT team conducted searches at 30 sites across Hyderabad and Bengaluru. They focused on the DSR Group’s main office in Hyderabad, seizing critical documents after reports suggested tax returns were not filed properly last year. Officials questioned some company staff at its locations in Banjara Hills, SR Nagar, and Suraram. DSR Group includes DSR Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, DSR Infra Projects, DSR Constructions, DSR Prime Spaces, and DSR Infra Developers.
The Managing Director, Devireddy Sudhakar Reddy, Executive Director Devireddy Prabhakar Reddy, and others were interrogated by the officials. The team reportedly confiscated documents, account records, and devices to investigate alleged hidden income and property transaction irregularities.
