In Kakinada, Telugu Desam Party leaders Mandali Buddha Prasad and Nimmaka Jayakrishna have joined the Jana Sena Party. They have been nominated by Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan to run in the upcoming elections.
Nimmaka Jayakrishna will be running for office in Palakonda, while Mandali Buddha Prasad will be representing Avanigadda for Jana Sena. They left TDP to join Jana Sena in order to secure tickets, showing that even those with TDP connections are getting seats in alliance parties.
After joining Jana Sena, Nimmaka Jayakrishna stated, “I joined the party in the presence of Pawan. I will be running in Palakonda. Pawan is confident about the upcoming elections. Both the current Palakonda MLA Kalavathi and MLC Vikrant are involved in corruption. We will work together with the alliance to remove them.”
Mandali Buddha Prasad mentioned, “Those hoping for tickets will be disappointed. Pawan asked me to run in Avanigadda, and Nara Chandrababu has shown his support. I agree with Pawan on many issues. He is not just playing politics for votes.”
