This year, a total of 5,09,403 students appeared for the exams. Of these, 2,58,895 were boys and 2,50,508 were girls. The exams took place between March 21 and April 4.

Students will get both marks and grades in their results. According to Dr. Yogita Rana, Secretary of the Education Department, the SSC certificate will include:

    – Internal, external, and total marks for each subject
    – Subject-wise performance
    – The overall result

In addition to academic scores, the certificate will also display grades for co-curricular activities.

Importantly, the certificate will not show terms like first class, second class, or third class. Instead, it will clearly state whether the student has passed or not, without ranking based on total marks.

This change aims to make the results more student-friendly and focused on overall performance rather than labels.
