The Telangana Congress is getting ready for the election activities. Party leaders are having meetings with AICC leaders and party state Incharge Manik Rao Thakre. Some leaders are also trying to meet the top leadership in New Delhi.
Congress senior leader Addanki Dayakar wrote a letter to party leader Sonia Gandhi. In the letter, he asked Sonia Gandhi to give party tickets to those who are loyal to the party and won’t switch sides after the elections. He also requested a strong campaign promising to waive Rs 2 lakh loans for farmers and assuring unemployed youth that Congress will provide job opportunities if they vote for Congress in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Dayakar also mentioned that the families of martyrs should be taken care of. He criticized BRS and BJP for targeting Congress and called on the party leadership to expose the secret alliance between the two parties.
