    Telangana State Director General of Police Anjani Kumar recently spoke about the importance of working in challenging circumstances. He made these comments while honoring 38 police officers who received prestigious medals for their bravery and meritorious service on Independence Day. Additionally, five officers were recognized with the Union Home Minister’s medal for excellence in investigation.

    Kumar praised the Greyhounds, SIB, and CI Cell for their professionalism and influence on other states. These organizations have provided training, guidance, and support to other states facing similar problems.

    The Director General of Police emphasized the need for sensitivity in the entire police force, in addition to the excellent work of specific wings. He expressed pride in the recognition received by Telangana State Police, highlighting that each medal represents collective efforts and teamwork.

    Kumar also acknowledged the strong support the Telangana police has received from the state government, contrasting it with the struggles faced by police in other states to secure necessary budgets.
