The Telangana government is taking action due to heavy rains in Bhagyanagaram. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has instructed officials and warned people in low-lying areas to stay alert.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is keeping a close eye on the rain in Hyderabad. Minister Prabhakar highlighted the need for quick reporting of issues in flood-prone areas.
“We have informed the GHMC Commissioner, District Collector, Hydra Commissioner, Police Commissioner, and Waterworks officials,” said Minister Prabhakar. “There’s no need to worry; our team is busy clearing rainwater from the city.”
Authorities are working at 141 waterlogged spots to ensure safety. The Minister assured that GHMC, Revenue, and Police teams are ready to tackle any problems quickly.
Minister Prabhakar urged people to stay calm and contact officials immediately in case of emergencies.
