In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, students are enjoying a break due to the Dussehra holidays. Schools are closed for 13 days, from September 22 to October 2. Classes will begin again on October 3.
The Telangana State Intermediate Board has also declared holidays for both government and private junior colleges. These holidays start on September 27 and end on October 5, giving students 9 days off. Colleges will reopen on October 6.

Officials have warned private colleges not to hold classes during this holiday period. Any college that violates this rule could face losing its affiliation.
The Telangana Private Teachers’ Lecturer Federation has requested that the holidays be extended to 10 days for both schools and junior colleges.
