Speaking about the rising power consumption, Bhatti Vikramarka shared some key figures. In 2020-21, the electricity demand was 13,600 MW. It increased to 14,120 MW in 2022 and further rose to 15,490 MW in 2023.

Recognizing the state’s growing power needs, the government has decided to carry out a thorough study. This study will help assess the demand and create plans to manage electricity efficiently. The goal is to ensure that the people of Telangana have a steady and reliable power supply.
