The Government of Telangana has established a round-the-clock control room at Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi to assist citizens residing in Middle East countries affected by the ongoing crisis. The initiative comes as the situation in certain West Asian nations continues to evolve, causing concern among Indian nationals living and working in the region.
Under the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the state government is closely monitoring developments in the affected countries. The control room has been set up specifically to address enquiries from Telangana citizens who may be stranded or facing difficulties, as well as from their family members back home in Telangana.
Senior officials at Telangana Bhavan are maintaining continuous communication with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and the concerned Indian Embassies in the region. This coordination aims to assess the ground situation and ensure timely assistance to those in need.
The control room will function round-the-clock to facilitate necessary coordination and extend assistance as required. Telangana citizens presently residing in the region, or their family members in Telangana, can reach out to the control room in case of distress, travel disruptions, or other emergency situations.
