The 10th Telangana State Cross Country Championship – 2024 took place in Kalwakurthy, organized by the Nagarkurnool District Athletic Association. The event featured boys and girls competing in the Under-16, Under-18, and Under-20 categories.
A.P. Jithender Reddy, Advisor to the Telangana State Government for Sports and a former Member of Parliament, attended the event as the Chief Guest. During his speech, he emphasized that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is committed to developing sports in the state. He also promised efforts to establish proper sports facilities in every district.
The event was also attended by Kalwakurthy MLA Kasireddy Narayan Reddy, senior Congress leader Balasingh, and M. Vijayender Yadav, President of the Nagarkurnool District Athletic Association. Additionally, several presidents and secretaries of various sports associations were present to support the championship.
